Malaysia: Crime Statistic 2000-2006 (III)

Lastly, this post will put forward the efficiency of Malaysian Royal Police’s efficiency in solving the crimes reported during year 2000-2006.

1) Efficiency in solving the violent crime:


 Malaysian Royal Police has the highest efficiency in solving the rape crime (average 91.6%), followed by assault (82.2%) and attempt murder (75.7%). The efficiency in solving the homicide cases are seeing an increase from 54.4% (2000) to 63.7% (2006). In general, the efficiency in solvng the robbery cases are lower than other violent crime, and robbery (group, firearmed) type is seeing the lowest: 17.8% on average.

2) Efficiency in solving the crime against property:

On the other hand, snatch-theft case solving efficienc maintained at more than 50%, except for year 2006, only 44.6% of cases solved. In general, year 2006 is seeing other crime-solving efficiency drop as well: theft (van/lorry), theft (motorcar), theft (motorbike) and burglary (day and night).

    i was hoping there will be plenty of references in the statistics vandalism in details.. much more easier to do the exciments given..
