OECD Review: STDs from year 1996 – 2006

A recap on the infection rate of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) like chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphillis among OECD countries in the past decade (1996 – 2006):

1. Austria
2. Belgium.
3. Denmark.
4. Ireland.
5. Luxembourg.
6. Spain.
7. Sweden.
8. Switzerland.
9. UK.
10. US.

Among these 10 countries, in year 2006 (or 2005, the latest):
a) the top three highest chlamydia infection rate (per 100 000 population) is
— Denmark (456.11), Sweden (440.57), US (347.8).
b) the highest gonorrheas infection rate (per 100 000 population) is
— US (120.9), UK (31.37), Switzerland (12.25).
c) the highest syphillis infection rate (per 100 000 population) is
— US (12.5), Ireland (5.69), Austria (5.25).
