A list of few actions, but the details like sequences are not important or not neccessarily, in contrast with te-form verb. However, at the end of each sentence, shimasu (します) or the form of suru must be added.

[maiban, terebi o mitari, hon o yondari, tegami o kaita. ongaku o kiita shimasu] (Every night, I watch TV, read book, write letter and listen to music) -> The sequence of the actions is not important.

Compared this to:

[Kinou, terebi o mite, hon o yonde, tegami o kaite, nemashita] (Yesterday, after I watched TV, read book, wrote letter, I went to sleep) -> The sequence of the action is emphasized here.
